Aseel dates are regarded as the best amongst Pakistani variety of dates and therefore it accounts for almost 90% of the total date production of the country. They are a rich source of health and energy. These ‘Oval-shaped’ dates posses a sweet, delicate flavour, and are widely used in bakery products, ice creams, desserts etc. Aseel Dates are mostly planted in the Khairpur District of Sindh.
