Rabbi dates are the most widely exported dates in Pakistan since they are easy to preserve and store (almost up-to one year at room temperature). Their semi-dry texture, with approximately 15% moisture, and a faint sweetness in taste makes them a well sought after food ingredient. Rabbi dates are cultivated in Mashkail area of Baluchistan in the month of September.
